Travel to the Czech Republic by coach has never been easier - or cheaper! My wife and I have used the coach every time, partly due to the fact that we both have a fear of flying, and partly because of the convenience and cost. We have travelled with two of the companies mentioned below and have found it very comfortable and actually quite enjoyable.

There are several services operating from London Victoria Coach Station, the principal ones detailed below, with links to their web sites. I hope you find this a convenient way to browse the various choices.

The companies are in alphabetical order, not in any order of preference.

Capital Express Coaches

A good site with timetables, fares and other information such as tours, accommodation, river trips etc. Fares are particularly reasonable, and the journey time is very competitive. London to Prague but can also be joined at Folkestone or Calais or Plzen.

Eurolines

One of the largest, if not the largest bus company operating in Europe. More choice when it comes to itinerary, but the offset to that is longer journey times. Fares are reasonable, and there are 30- and 60-day passes available which make choosing an itinerary much more personal and exciting. Again operates from London Victoria Coach Station, the destinations in the Czech Republic include Plzen, Prague, Brno, Olomouc and Ostrava. Other European cities are also called at on the way.

Again a very good site with timetables, fares and more. Fares are very competitive and include free refreshments at stops along the way. Journey times are very good, and coaches are comfortable. Destinations are Plzen, Prague, and Brno.

Above All!

However you choose to travel, the important thing is to go to the Czech Republic.

You will not regret your visit!
