The Tower On Charles Bridge
At each end of the Charles Bridge are towers, this is the tower at the end near the Old Town.
For a small fee you can climb to the top; if you do, look out for the mason's marks on the stones as you climb the stairs. A strange statue greets you at the top before you step out into the roof, from where you have some fine views over the Old Town roofs and the river.
Here is the view looking down onto the bridge.
Descending the tower, we make our way toward the Old Town Square where we can rest up for a few minutes in a cafe, or enjoy a traditional Czech lunch - pork, sauerkraut and dumplings!
